Develware is synthesized by two parts. The first, Devel, comes from the word development. Taking
the interesting part of development and discarding what's left, gives us Devel. The second part comes
from burning the soft part of Software, which leaves us with a product of art.
When the company's founder started the company, he only had the name but no logo. When he started
introducing the company to friends, colleagues and bookstore cashiers, he was confronted with the
question "What? Devilware?!". There, he found what he was looking for: something rich enough to capture
the name of the company (the starting letter at least), a word game (Dev-i-e-l) and a funky logo.
