Milestones
Step 1: Registration to the contest (since you have registered, you will receive all necessary data and will be informed of any updates, news etc.)
(closing at 12/4/2013)
Step 2: Part of the benchmarking dataset
along with the ground truth information will be sent to all registered
participants so that they become familiar with the data at hand (just after registering)
Step 3: All registered users is required to submit their word spotting executables in the form of Win32 console application (by 15/4/2013)
Step 4: All participants will be asked to submit a draft
description of their word spotting methodology. The testing dataset will
become publicly available

Step 5: Final contest results to be announced at the ICDAR 2013 conference. A report on the competition will be published in the ICDAR 2013 conference proceedings.
