Anastasios Kesidis received his Diploma and Ph.D. degree both from
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus
University of Thrace, Xanthi , Greece . His Ph.D. thesis is on the
inverse Hough transform and its applications on digital image
processing. From 2000 to 2002 he worked as a postdoctoral research
fellow in the Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing, School
of Electronics and Physical Sciences, University of Surrey , UK .
From 2002 to 2005 he worked at BSI S.A. as Project Manager and Head of
R&D. Currently, he is with the Computational Intelligence
Laboratory at the
Institute of Informatics and Telecommunication, NCSR "Demokritos",
Athens , Greece . Since 2004, he is also serving as instructor
(Assistant Professor) at the Department of Surveying Engineering of the
Technological Educational Institute of Athens. His main interests
include pattern recognition,
document analysis, medical image processing, computational tomography
and image
watermarking.
