| The Projector complements the Scheduler
application and is deployed at the reception of the AXA site
in Utrecht. The messages composed with the Scheduler and the
scheduling information are consumed by the Projector, which
drives a wide projector screen located at the reception space
and "welcomes" the site visitors. Every hour the Projector message
changes and the wide screen content is updated with the new
message. If there's no composed message, then the Projector
makes one the fly. The administrator/reception staff can compose
an on the fly message which can override the composed message
of the hour, in case of a special event |

The Projector is designed and implemented using C++ and the Win32 API and deployed on a Windows client.
Image, video manipulation and overall presentation are done via the DirectX API.
